Let's Dance!

We have reached the final third of this adventure.  There are but four days left in the thoughts that Papa and I prepared to share with you on this subject.
I do intend to extend it another twelve days or so, plus I am now on an adventure through the Psalms that I would like to include you in.  So I hope you are settled in for a while!

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love sent to me Nine ladies dancing,

Oh, how I love this picture!   I love to dance before and with my True Love.
Doesn’t everyone love to dance?  Many of us just don’t want anyone watching!

Imagine dancing for Jesus?  You don’t have to be shy, know that He is not going to judge your moves.  He sees your heart!
“Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe.”  Psalm 150:4
Dance is a sign of freedom and rejoicing; freedom to worship.
“And David was dancing before the LORD with all his might, and David was wearing a linen ephod.”  2 Samuel 6:14
See dancing isn’t just for the ladies!

The number nine is the symbol for the Fruit of the Spirit, so the freedom is found in being Spirit-filled and empowered.
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.”  Galatians 5:22
That fruit loves to pour out in the form of worship.  You might just find yourself in your True Love’s arms!

Let’s take time to reflect on the message found in Psalm 100.
"Shout to the LORD, all the earth.  Serve the LORD with gladness; come before Him with joyful singing.  Know that the LORD Himself is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; we are His people and the sheep of His pasture.  Enter His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him; bless His Name.  For the LORD is good; His loving kindness is everlasting, and His faithfulness to all generations."
Have you noticed that our True Love's gifts tend to cause us to stir joyful praise in us
“Ascribe to the LORD the glory due to His Name; worship the LORD in holy array.”
